hey friends!
okay since we last touched base with all of you, we have come back from Paris with new duds and hair, changed our band name, joined a new record label, started a band, and getting JOY, our van, all fixed up, oil and fluids checked for our Texas Tour. yeee hawww.
So we got our hair done while we were in Paris. Please enjoy the video. its of our head to toe makeover experience.
We changed the band name due to many other sirens in the world. I guess that’s why we have been called many things like sirens in the woods, the sirens, and drew and nancy. Over lots of thought we decided to just go with our names. So the official band name is: kRi and hettie! Please join our fan page on Facebook HERE to get updates on shows, videos, and more.
We also joined a Louisville Ky Record label called MCB Records. If you want to learn more about MCB and their artist lineup please visit MCB RECORDS WEBSITE. We are also starting a new band that will emulate the record, still searching for a bassist and a guitarist if yall know anyone with some sly, hit us up.
We are going off on our Texas Tour adventure starting Feb. 9th-March 2nd. If anyone from Ky to Texas would like us to play in your town or living room, let us know. Please check our shows calender for dates and venues.
as always we always appreciate all of your support and love. love and gratitude from our hearts to yours.

to write about Paris is to write about myself. About being in a place where the smile on my face gives me away. I see my boots hitting hard the streets, the walks of broken stones, older than my greatest grandmother. I feel my legs getting tighter and my ass getting higher. and i fit in as long as i wear a hat and i keep my eyes down. i like to sneak and look into their eyes. the waiter, the lady holding her bag tight, her head in a scarf on the metro. my eyes telling her eyes, “it’s okay”. and then she reveals a sweet awkward kindness- and then a squeal of brakes and a slam open of the doors- on to the next moment….
and that is it, that is Paris.
fast. breathing fast. heart beating fast. everyone moving fast. body to body. Versace and plastic- same sidewalk same espresso same expression- different shoes period
the city leaves the tents up. the homeless are more like house less. they stand or sit on corners. the same corner on Thursday as it was on Tuesday, with a cigarette and a sign i can’t read. probably something like, S’il te plait. i hold my backpack straps tighter and avert my eyes thinking of an ani difranco song and wondering what the guy did on Wednesday.
